Discount |
College students with a valid ID can
shoot for $12 per day. You must be 21 to rent a
gun or buy ammo.
| Free Gun Rental And Lower Range Fee For Women On Sunday |
This is a great deal. Women can come in on Sunday, pay a just a $12 range fee plus tax and use a rental gun for free. Like all persons who desire to rent handguns at Patriot, women wishing to participate in the Sunday special must be proficient with a handgun (see information in the right hand column of this page regarding handgun rentals). Women who are beginners or novices are also welcome with arrangements for range-approved instruction (additional instructional fees may apply).

International Defensive
Pistol Association is a fun way to learn to use your
pistol for self defense. We stress safety and
eveyone has a good time. You are welcome to stop by
and watch, or just come a bit early and shoot with
us. Coffee and donuts are provided. Please call us
for details and an explanation of our safe
gunhandling considerations. IDPA begins at 9:00 am
Saturday morning.
| The
Benefits of Membership |
Members can shoot all day, every day
if they wish. Yearly rates are $350 for an
individual or $450 for a family. If you plan to
shoot more than twice a month, a membership is the
more economical way to go. Members only need to
pay for the targets they shoot. There are no extra
hidden fees. Also, members can use any of our rent
guns at no cost (although they still have to use
our ammunition).

Yes, we are once again featuring our popular gift certificates. These are available in any amount and can be used for anything we sell or offer. Many people give Concealed Handgun Courses or a day of shooting. Stop by to get a great gift for the shooter (or new shooter) in your life.

2013: NEW RESTRICTIONS ON INEXPERIENCED SHOOTERS
Safety is
our primary concern at the range and the recent
closure of the shooting range in Slaton has meant a
drastic increase in the number of shooters here. As a
result we have had to institute a new policy. We
cannot allow novice (new, inexperienced) shooters to
shoot here, and we will not allow them to be
instructed by family members, friends or outside
instructors at this range. This is a matter of safety
and there will be no exceptions made. We do have an
excellent instructor and, after one lesson with him,
novice shooters will be allowed to shoot here. We
realize that this may pose an inconvenience for some
people, but safety is paramount at Patriot Range.
NO BLACK POWDER
This is a PISTOL RANGE (and rimfire rifles like .22). No centerfire rifles are permitted.
We are a Class II Manufacturer and a dealer of Class III weapons.
LAW
ENFORCEMENT AND MILITARY DISCOUNT
Active duty
military and law enforcement personnel can shoot for
$12 per day. This includes Police, Sheriff's Office,
FBI, ATF, U.S. Marshals, DPS and Game Wardens. Please
be prepared to present your credentials. We understand
that IRS is currently arming their agents, and they
are excluded.

View firearms for sale: 6/15/13 AMMUNITION AVAILABILITY We have
ammunition.
Due to the shortage of pistol ammunition and the
fact that we want our shooters to be able to
purchase the ammunition they need to shoot while
at our range, we will only sell ammunition to
people who are actively shooting here and need
ammunition to begin or finish their shooting
session. This means that, for the time being, we
won't sell ammunition to be carried out the
door.

Read This About Gun Rental |
|
|
Our rental guns offer an excellent
selection of Glocks, some 1911s, Springfield XDMs, Ruger .380s and other
pistols. You must be at least 21
years old and proficient with a handgun to
rent a pistol at the range.
Be
prepared to demonstrate your proficiency
before rental. And please don't take offense
at the questions; we
want everyone to be safe at the range.
For those people who are not proficient, we
highly recommend a two-hour session with our
excellent instructor. You will learn the shoot
the right way and the safe way and you will have
confidence in what you are doing. EXPANDED SELECTION OF
RENT GUNS Due to customers asking about
more concealed carry
options, we are expanding our rent gun collection to
include smaller pistols like .380 caliber. We are also
have a .22 magnum revolver which is an
option for those who want a lower
recoil revolver for self defense.
Additionally, now have an
AR-15 style
rifle in
.22 long
rifle caliber. Here

guns available

We sell high-quality range brass for
3 to 10 cents per piece depending on caliber. |

Instructors Allowed |
The Patriot instructors for Concealed Handgun Licensing, Basic Handgun and Competition classes have decades of combined experience which encompasses law enforcement and military small arms and/or Expert Classifications in IDPA and USPSA and/or winners of state, national and international defensive pistol championships. Not to mention National Rifle Association (NRA) instructor certifications in Basic Pistol, Personal Protection in the Home and Range Safety Officer. While we could go on and on, let it suffice to say that the instructors employed by Patriot are credentialed professionals with proven track records and years of experience. While all positions are currently filled, any applicants with credentials that meet or exceed those of our current staff of instructors are welcome to apply.
